Lending
At the office on Alsättersgatan 7 we have a lot of stuff you might need once in a while. The office is open on Thursdays and Sundays between 7 pm and 8 pm (closed during examperiods and holidays).
Deposits och rules
It's free to borrow things but you have to leave a deposit of 100-200 SEK - a fee that is returned to you when you return the things (without damages and on time). You must also show your LiU-card or other ID in order to borrow. You are allowed to borrow each thing for two weeks but you are very welcome to return them sooner (Thursdays and Sundays). Note that an extra fee of up to 100 SEK per week is charged if you do not return the borrowed things on time.
Booking
You are recommended to reserve the things you wish to borrow. This can be done by submitting a booking request here on the home page at least three of four days ahead. Please note that this reservation does not guarantee you to get the thing you want, since this can depend on the person who has borrowed the same thing before you.
The range of things is often increased. If there is something that you recommend us to buy and have to lend, please contact us on intendent@frryd.se and write a short description of the thing and why we should have it, and we will consider it.

- about 40 simple beds
- one pot, 10 liters
- paella-pan, 60 cm in diameter
- irons and ironing-boards
- scales (for weighing for example luggage)
- snowshowel
- cart (carrying max 250 kg)
- extension cord (10 m)
- webcam
- DV camera (must be booked on intendent@frryd.se)
- one digital camera: Nikon Coolpix 885 (must be booked on intendent@frryd.se)

- four drilling machines for concrete walls

We have a lamination machine for papers up to A4 (3 SEK per paper). It's also possible to buy FR Ryd-badges to your overall (20 SEK) and lights for your bike (35 SEK) in the office.
